1) Simple Sentences:

Example:

2) Compound Sentences:

Example:
a) I tried to speak Spanish, and my friend try to speak English.
b) Ali played football, so Maria went shopping.

3) Complex Sentences:

Example:
a) The teacher returned the homework after she noticed the error.
b) The students are studying because they have a test tomorrow.

4) Compound-Complex Sentence:

Example:
a) Although I like to go camping, I haven't had the time to go lately, and I haven't found anyone to go with.
b) We decided that the movie was too violent, but our children, who like to watch scary movies, thought      that we were wrong

Task 1 Pre-Writing (what is love to you?)

Love is like a war. Sometimes, we have to be defend it. Love need struggle. Love it also have risk, should be strong and courageous facing each risk. There is love brings happy, and there is love brings pain. Love is beautiful gift has given on a person. There are many kinds of love, that is love of god, nature, family, lovers and so on. Love also involves of feelings such as love, loyalty, honesty and respect one for another person. Besides, love also teach people to be more appreciate of others. Love also test the patience and love making people to a better person. Love is for a long time, not a moment. Let love that was built remain until the end of life. In addition, love also involves a willingness someone to do something or known as sacrifice. Love brings good and harm, because sometimes people wrong to use the real meaning of love. Lastly, love makes a person must have and very deep impact on our lives in the world.
